Here's another happy story.
Cathy visited me last week, it's been the first time we've seen each other for at least 8 weeks. I said that when I saw her I would pounce on her like a Jaguar and I wasn't kidding.
Reunited!
Cathy was here for Chris' birthday, for which we were having a Mexican themed party. I had arranged it all and Jonny & Lewis had also made the journey to Nottingham for the occasion. It was great to see them both too, I've missed Cathy and Jonny especially since moving here (Lewis too, but he's here quite often). Anyway, we were each equipped with our own sombrero, poncho & moustache for the occasion, and me and Cathy had guns because we're mavericks.
I made all the food, with help preparing from Lewis, Cathy and Jonny, but mainly Lewis. And unwanted help from Andy, one of my flatmates, who tried to tell me that my method of cooking fajitas was wrong- and if there's one thing I know how to do, it's make damn fine fajitas. Luckily my wife stuck up for me when he got out of line about my mexican cookery skills and I was left to my own maverick devices. I made Chicken Fajitas and 3 massive trays of Nachos. It was beaut.
Unfortunately I don't have a picture (Cathy might..) but the food went quickly so there was no time for my camera!
Me, Cathy, Jonny, Lewis and Andy had also blown up some balloons, y'know, to really make that party atmosphere. We proceeded to decorate each one with insults, also.

So the party began, lot's of people invaded the flat and the food was pretty much gone immediately. Me and Cathy went to become our alter-egos, Miguel & Juan. We returned to find the booze very nearly gone however we didn't care because we looked fabulous.

A few notable events happened following this picture. One thing, was that we were quizzed on our knowledge of sweets by two Australian lesbians which resulted in me talking to them in an Australian accent and them then giving us the sweets. Really!
Other things that happened were:
- Jonny had a wee on a crypt
- We found a shop devoted to Tin Tin memorabilia
- We got some cheesy chips
- Me and Cathy persuaded the group (what remained of it) to go to Revival, the 80's bar. We then proceeded to request Wham! and danced on the revolving dancefloor platform.
- Chris and I had a heart to heart for which I was very sober which made it more amusing. The gist of the conversation was that he thinks of me as his sister.
- We spotted some arabs at the Hilton
- Chris climbed a lampost
- Chris tried to break into a building
- Chris ran into a perspex screen at full speed
- Me and Cathy were saluted by a Chinese man in scrubs when we shouted Scrubs references at him. Hooch is crazy.
- Chris tried to convince me his dad earned £10 million pounds a day. (most likely true)
- Myself, Cathy & Jonny sang to Wham! Last Christmas upon arrival back to the flat.
- I shared a bed with my wife.
And that was the night. Fairly sober in the end as most bars and clubs were closed. Nonetheless a good night, it was great seeing my best friend, Cathy, and Jonny, one of my closest friends. I love them both to pieces. Chris had a great birthday too, success!!
